Why you need to dream bigger

Spoiler: you are totally underestimating what you can achieve.

Every single client I’ve worked with aimed too low at the start of our journey together - and some of them continued fighting for their limitations for much too long. Not because they weren’t getting results, or because they didn’t SEE how their thoughts, patterns and conditioning was weighing them down either.

Did that sound familiar? And are you out there right now full of amazing ideas but talking yourself out of 90% of them? I thought so.

It’s not because you're stupid, you just can’t learn or you’re not ‘cut out for business’ either. The real culprit is that you’ve formed a habit of protection and dreaming smaller allows you to play smaller. Which on the surface feels like the safer option.

How you convince yourself to play small:

  • You don’t prioritise making progress - because you convince yourself that what you’re doing isn’t that important.

  • You don’t take as many risks - because then that will mean you’ll have more to lose.

  • You scale back your goals - because people might think you’re delusional or a bitch.

  • You reach for less than you desire - because you’ve convinced yourself that’s all your worth.

Insert your own story.

The harsh truth is that when you aim for a smaller goal it doesn’t matter if you reach it or not because it wasn’t the one you desired. There is a part of you that will always know that you were meant for more.

You wouldn’t dream it, if there wasn’t a way for you to attain it.

You need to start dreaming bigger. And don’t worry...you’ll skills, passion and actions will expand to fill the space created.

I’d love to hear from you about your big, bold and beautiful dreams in the comments.
