This is such a common query and one that has a quick answer.
You need to decide what type of business YOU want.
Feel too big? Too messy? Too ‘come on just tell me the best way’?
I feel you - I really do - but even if you were handed the keys to an already profitable business, with all the pieces in place and it was running well there would come a point where you realised that success needs to be on your terms and in alignment with your needs.
What business suits you best will be the one that you create FOR you and with your wants, needs and desires in mind.
You might already have a business running or you perhaps you are at the staring stages and this advice will serve you either way.
Start by using the prompts below to journal upon your ideal business. Allow yourself to really tune in (use that beautiful intuition you have been developing) and get right to the heart of the matter. Make this moment matter.
Questions to ask yourself when creating YOUR ideal business:
For what reasons did I decide to start a business?
If those are met, what will keep me in business?
What impact do I seek to make personally?
What impact fo I seek to make professionally?
What am I willing to do daily, weekly, monthly in order to build the business?
What am I not willing to do or compromise on?
What size business do I want to create?
Am I willing to maintain this or hire the people to do so?
What will success look like to me?
Overwhelm isn’t my goal here so we will leave the questions here.
Allow yourself to take your time and also to revisit theses questions at different times and levels in your business journey. Evolution is part of business as much as it is a part of your personal life. One will be reflected within the other so this isn’t a one and done task.
You get to have the business YOU want. So get clear on it.
